قررت لجنة طارئة بالإتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (الفيفا) رفع عقوبة تعليق عضوية الاتحاد النيجيري التي صدرت في الرابع من الشهر الجاري "بشكل مؤقت" بعد التدخلات الحكومية في شؤون اللعبة. وأكدت لجنة الطوارىء أن القرار جاء بناء على تطورات إيجابية أعقبت رضوخ السلطات النيجيرية لقرار "الفيفا" بإعادة السكرتير العام للاتحاد المحلي إلى منصبه في الخامس من الشهر الجاري، وسحب الدعوى القضائية التي منعت الأعضاء المنتخبين من ممارسة مهامهم.
