We often talk about ways and tips to enhance your social media usage – what about stuff we shouldn’t be doing on social networks?

Here is a quick list of what you shouldn’t be doing with social media, take note!

1. waiting till you think social media has taken off before you give it a try.

2. interact with customers without a plan/idea what you are trying to achieve.

3. lets your brand or company name get squatted by others.

4. forget about your overall business/personal objectives.

5. talk more than you listen.

6. Not treat customers as seriously because they have contacted you via Social Media instead of email or the telephone.

7. overly self promote.

8. what your time when customers don’t want to engage with you.

9. automate all your updates instead of conversations.

10. just send interested customers to your website.
