Ohio Tuition Trust Authority Tweet Chat + a $100 Scholarship Giveaway

One of the best experiences of my life so far has been attending college. I want nothing more than to provide this opportunity for my daughters, preferably without the loans that can go along with it! While my husband and I have started saving for both of our girls, we haven’t opened a 529 account yet – something that I have been interested in researching. That’s why I was excited when I was contacted about Ohio’s CollegeAdvantage 529 Plan. It is the kick in the pants that I needed to learn more!

If you are interested in learning more about 529 plans and saving for college, the Ohio Tuition Trust Authority is hosting a Tweet Chat tomorrow (Tuesday, October 26, 2010) from 6-8 PM, using the hashtag #SaveOH. Participants will have the opportunity to chat with a college savings expert from SavingforCollege.com, as well as individuals from Ohio Tuition Trust Authority. I know that I have questions about saving for college and about 529 plans, and I figured a few of you might as well! Be sure to follow @Ohio529Plan to receive updates.

8 Winners will also be randomly selected from the list of tweet chat participants to receive a $100 CollegeAdvantage scholarship. Click on almost any city on Groupon and you will find the deal for $40 worth of The Body Shop products for just $20. This is valid in stores only, but good at every store. This could really make some great teacher gifts.

For $20, you get $40 worth of in-store merchandise, including sale items, limit 2 per person. Quantities are limited, so get this one now if you are interested!
