| Ohio Tuition Trust Authority Tweet Chat + a $100 Scholarship Giveaway Posted: 25 Oct 2010 08:20 AM PDT One of the best experiences of my life so far has been attending college. I want nothing more than to provide this opportunity for my daughters, preferably without the loans that can go along with it! While my husband and I have started saving for both of our girls, we haven’t opened a 529 account yet – something that I have been interested in researching. That’s why I was excited when I was contacted about Ohio’s CollegeAdvantage 529 Plan. It is the kick in the pants that I needed to learn more! If you are interested in learning more about 529 plans and saving for college, the Ohio Tuition Trust Authority is hosting a Tweet Chat tomorrow (Tuesday, October 26, 2010) from 6-8 PM, using the hashtag #SaveOH. Participants will have the opportunity to chat with a college savings expert from SavingforCollege.com, as well as individuals from Ohio Tuition Trust Authority. I know that I have questions about saving for college and about 529 plans, and I figured a few of you might as well! Be sure to follow @Ohio529Plan to receive updates. 8 Winners will also be randomly selected from the list of tweet chat participants to receive a $100 CollegeAdvantage scholarship. An added bonus is that I have also been given a $100 CollegeAdvantage scholarship to give away to one of you! (to be deposited into your current or new CollegeAdvantage 529 account). You *do not* need to be an Ohio resident to win, but you will need to open an Ohio CollegeAdvantage 529 account if you win. Learn more about the Ohio CollegeAdvantage 529 Plan here.
