Posted: 30 Nov 2010 10:22 PM PST Over 2010 we have seen a lot of hype and leadership from the United States in regards to social media. Generally in technology and computer trends the USA (and then UK) lead the pack in user adoption. In Australia however, we spend more time on social networks per month than any other country in the world. Yes – us Aussies like to be social – we have taken it online and haven’t let up pace at all. Ok so we are all on Facebook, but now more and more Australian’s are using Geo-location services like Foursquare and Gowalla – which is still relatively underused here compared to the USA. What does 2011 hold for Social Media in Australia? Are Australian’s still going to be prolific social media users?
