| Lower Oil and Gas Estimates for NPRA Posted: 27 Oct 2010 11:01 PM PDT USGS updated its assessment of undiscovered oil and gas resources for the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska. Oil estimates were only about 10% of the the 2002 report lower than what was reported in the 2002 assessment. Gas volumes were down about 15%. |

They have drilled over 45,000 meters of diamond core into the Ilimaussaq Intrusive Complex to identify rare earth metals, sodium fluoride, uranium and zinc resources. |
