Praise the Lord the comments have quit moderating themselves. It only took 48 hours this time. Maybe it’ll give me a long reprieve before it does it again. It can be challenging for the parents to figure out, but I imagine that it can be twice as hard to figure out what to buy for kids that don’t belong to you. So if you are buying gifts for kids ages 5-7, please post what is under the tree for them! I know lots of people can use some ideas on what to get infants. If you have kids then you know about the annoying stage they go through where they are constantly messing with the kitchen chairs. From moving the chairs over to the counters so they can climb on them to pushing out from the dinner table when they are suppose to be eating dinner…. | Day 10 of No Dining Out December Posted: 10 Dec 2010 04:50 AM PST Can you go an entire month without going out to eat? What about a week or a day? Can you cut your dining bill by 20%, 50% , 75% or more? That is what I challenge you to do! At the end of the 30 days, I will choose one winner who will get $50 to spend however they choose! The rules: 1. You must challenge yourself. Try to spend less than you spend now. If you don’t go out to eat at all, challenge yourself to try new meals this month. As long as you are challenging yourself when it comes to your family’s eating habits, you can participate! My progress: I took my mother in law grocery shopping yesterday and we ended up at Zaxby’s for lunch. I had a coupon for a free Meal deal so it was $14 total of 3 adults and 1 child to eat. Not bad.
