NYT Choice Blog

Dear Scholars,

I just wanted to share one of my favorite blogs with you again: Each year, The New York Times asks six high school seniors to blog about their experiences applying to college in a compilation called The Choice.

This year’s seniors go to Cherry Creek High in Colorado.  Interspersed between the students’ posts are bits of advice from college admissions professionals, like this one on college essays, and this list of do’s and don’t's for parents.

Taken as a whole, The Choice blog can be a great way to glean information and insight about the college admissions process.  And it’s way better than reality TV.
