 Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood – PCDescrição do Jogo: Brothers in Arms Earned in Blood é um jogo de tiro em primeira pessoa ambientado na Segunda Guerra Mundial que narra os fatos decorridos com a 101ª Divisão Airborne, um pelotão de soldados dos Estados Unidos da América que participaram dos principais eventos da Grande Guerra. O desenvolvimento ficou ao encargo da Gearbox Software, empresa que já teve experiências não só no gênero shooter mas também com outros estilos, como Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3. O enredo circunda em torno do sargento Hartsock e sua relação com o pelotão sob o seu comando. O clima de companheirismo permeia as cutscenes e diálogos do jogo, apresentando um aspecto mais dramático em vez da ação e carnificina desenfreada que costumeiramente existem nos jogos do gênero. A jogabilidade consiste na mecânica: suprimir fogo inimigo e flanquear. No papel de Hartsock, o jogador dá ordens de movimento para seus combatentes, indica a eles se devem interromper os tiros inimigos ou avançarem. Hartsock pode comandar 2 grupos de aliados ao mesmo tempo, podendo separá-los em uma equipe para ataque e outra para o papel tático de flanqueamento. O jogo ainda disponibiliza uma tomada aérea do campo de batalha chamada Situation Awareness, que apresenta ao jogador a posição dos inimigos e dos aliados, permitindo um planejamento mais preciso dos movimentos necessários para um bom ataque. Mesmo que a mecânica de ordens para as equipes nem sempre funcione adequadamente, a Gearbox Software foi bem sucedida ao propor um jogo completo, com um bom embasamento histórico e jogabilidade inovadora ao mesmo tempo.
