 Cheryl Cole has reignited rumours about her friendship with dancer Derek Hough – by flying him over to the UK from America to stay with her.The 27-year-old X Factor judge begged Hough, 25, to cheer her up after she was lambasted by viewers for giving contestant Wagner a dressing-down on the show. Prince William's stepbrother Tom Parker Bowles is hoping that Wills and Kate Middleton will opt for a traditional British feast on their big day. Kate is known to love cooking toad in the hole and food writer Tom said at Mark Hix's Champagne bar in Selfridges: 'It will hopefully be a very, very good British feast. 'If you go to a wedding and get served stuffed chicken breast it's rubbish. Wedding food should be about yummy, scrumptious food that makes everyone happy. 'British produce should be celebrated.' After signing up Victoria Beckham, Range Rover have secured another famous face – singer Solange Knowles, younger sister of Beyonce. The car company asked Solange to become one of their LA 'City Shaper' ambassadors. 'I jumped at the opportunity like a kid in a candy store,' said Solange, 24, who nips around LA in her own Range Rover Evoque. 'I'm so glad I finally have a car that is rap-song worthy!' Meanwhile, Victoria is busy designing a special-edition Range Rover. 'It will be a fashionable concept car,' says a source.   |

NEW YORK: The US has warned India and other key governments across the world about a new potentially embarrassing release of classified documents by the whistle-blowing website WikiLeaks which may harm the American interests and create tension in its ties with its "friends". "We have reached out to India to warn them about a possible release of documents," state department spokesman P J Crowley said. "We do not know precisely what WikiLeaks has or what it plans to do. We have made our position clear. These documents should not be released," Crowley said, ahead of the expected release by the website of millions of sensitive diplomatic cables. It is not known yet what is contained in these documents about India-related issues. The WikiLeaks has said there would be "seven times" as many secret documents as the 400,000 Iraq war logs it published last month. On his Twitter account, Crowley said the State Department officials have also contacted leaders in Germany, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Britain, France and Afghanistan. Secretary of state Hillary Clinton too reached out to Chinese foreign minister Yang Jiechi, as the WikiLeaks, the whistle-blower website, is expected to release some three million classified US cables involving some of its key allies including Australia, Britain, Israel, Russia, Turkey and India. Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, urged WikiLeaks to stop "dangerous" leaks. "I would hope that those who are responsible for this would, at some point in time, think about the responsibility that they have for lives that they're exposing... and stop leaking this information," Admiral Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told CNN. "It continues to be extremely dangerous," he said. "We are very mindful of the announcement that WikiLeaks made earlier this week, that there is a release of documents pending at some point in the future."  Abhimanyu Mithun took four wickets to give Karnataka an innings victory over Orissa at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. Orissa came in to the fourth day with nine wickets in hand, and at 203 for 3, with Niranjan Behera on 94, around the halfway point of the day's play looked good for a draw. Mithun, the fast bolwer who played three Tests for India on their tour of Sri Lanka in July, then struck two quick blows, getting rid of Behera and Biplab Samantray, and seamer Sreenath Aravind dismissed Rakesh Mohanty to leave Orissa reeling at 216 for 6. The tail didn't add many more as Orissa were out for 279, leaving them second from bottom in the table.Seamers Murtuja Vahora and Sankalp Vohra bowled Baroda to within a point of the top of the Group B table, as they completed an innings and 55-run victory over Punjab at the Moti Bagh Stadium in Vadodara. Baroda needed just 16.2 overs on the fourth day to complete the win.
