Rebate Round Up: Crayola and Toys R Us Board Games

Posted: 05 Nov 2010 12:00 PM PDT

The holiday season is upon us and with it comes great deals.  Combining rebates with sales and coupons make for even better deals.  Here are two rebates that should help your wallet and your shopping list:

  • Get over $20 back by mail when you purchase 9 different Crayola items by 12/31/2010.  Rebates are either $2 or $3 per item purchased.  Get more details and print your rebate form here.
  • Get over $100 back by mail when you purchase board games at Toys R Us.  The rebate forms can be found in stores, on a tearpad by the board games.  This offer is valid between 10/21/2010-12/31/2010.  You can mail in more than 1 receipt, but you can only request a rebate 1 time, so save your receipts until you are sure you are done holiday shopping.  For a detailed list of games and rebate amounts, look here.

Tip: If you think there is any chance you’ll use this rebate form – print it now. Occasionally rebate forms are taken down from websites before the offer ends.

Freebie: 10,000 Pairs of Gap Jeans Today – 11/5/2010

Posted: 05 Nov 2010 08:45 AM PDT

Today  (11/5/2010) Gap is giving away 10,000 FREE pairs of jeans.  The first 10,000 people to “check-in” with Gap Facebook Places will win.  You need to show a store employee your check-in on your phone (needs to be a web-enabled phone) to receive your coupon.  Coupon will be good for 1 pair of basic 5- pocket jeans.

This offer sounds  a bit complicated to me, but it could be worth it if you can be at a Gap location when they open tomorrow.  If you don’t win a free pair of jeans they will be handing out coupons for 40% off 1 regular priced item, so all is not lost if you don’t win.

Thanks Bargain Briana!

Pedialyte Tetra Pak Singles: $1.50/1 Coupon + My Shopping Experience

Posted: 05 Nov 2010 08:14 AM PDT

Recently I was asked to shop for a new product by Pedialyte - their Tetra Pak Singles, and to share my shopping experience with you. I felt this project was timely given that a stomach bug has had the kids in my 4 year old’s Pre K class dropping like flies this week!

For those of you who aren’t familiar, Pedialyte is a product designed to replace lost fluids and electrolytes due to vomiting and diarrhea in kids. In addition to pre-mixed liters, powder packs and freezer pops, Pedialyte now offers 4 pack, juice box style singles, available in Apple, Cherry, and Fruit flavors.

I like having the option of purchasing Pedialyte Tetra Paks, because I feel that they will minimize waste in my house. The liters are too large for my young kids right now, and inevitably I end up throwing a lot of it away. The Tetra Paks also take up very little room in my pantry which is a bonus since my space is small. They have a long shelf life as well – the pack I purchased doesn’t expire until February 2012 – and I feel that the juice box design will be more appealing to my picky child.

Always ask your doctor before using Pedialyte products!

You can print a $1.50/1 Pedialyte product coupon in my left side bar, or here. Find a store near you that sells this product here.

Also be sure to check out my shopping trip experience here:
