Jersey City Zoning vs Natural Gas Pipeline Posted: 25 Nov 2010 09:50 PM PST Jersey City passed a zoning ordinance to ban a proposed natural gas pipeline from crossing the city. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission says that a city can not use zoning ordinances to block interstate commerce.
