While hunters should use extra caution handling guns or exerting themselves while hauling their kill from the woods, accidental gunshot wounds or health-related issues such as heart attacks aren't the most likely causes of death or injury, said Dr. Bill Clegg, an attending physician at Borgess Medical Center's Emergency and Trauma Center.
