Buy First or Sell First, part 1

If you plan to sell your Maryland real estate and buy another home, you may be thinking that it is prudent to sell first and buy afterwards…and you are right, it is. However there are some instances where you might want to go ahead and buy first if you have the finances to do so. For example, in a sellers market when you know that buyers are lining up to get great properties and the competition is cutthroat, you will not want to hesitate.

Dream Home
Real estate experts try to advise home buyers to be as prudent as possible because buying a house is an important business transaction…but we know that when you buy a home you are not only investing money, you are also investing your feelings. If you find the home that you know is absolutely right for you, you may decide that you want to snatch it up right away.

Dream Deal
If you find a deal that you really cannot pass up, then you might want to go for it. Sometimes you find a home being sold by a very motivated seller and if that home has the features you are looking for and/or is in the area where you want to live, it will be hard to pass that up. When this happens you will want to make sure you are working with a top Maryland realtor who make sure that someone is in there negotiation the best deal possible for you, since you will still have to pay the mortgage on the new home and on the home you already own.
