Maintenance keeps your home healthy while you live there and eases preparation when you want to sell your home fast. You hear a lot of talk about people ‘going green’ these days, and that is great if you are talking about energy-efficient appliances or windows. You don’t want your house to be green if that includes unchecked plant life growing on or around your home. A Washington Post article, “How to keep your house from looking old, neglected” quoted an expert who noted that an untrimmed tree can get in the way of drying out the roof.
